Embracing the Challenges and Possibilities
November 16 & 17, 2017

Supporting the theme of educational transformation, the 2017 BCSSA Fall Conference highlighted the best of innovation and learning currently taking place in British Columbia. Also featured were keynote addresses from George Couros, author of “The Innovator’s Mindset”, Dr. Gwen Point, Chancellor for the University of the Fraser Valley and Stó:lō leader, mentor, and cultural advisor, and, in partnership with the Finland House Society of the Scandinavian Community Centre, Dr. Pasi Sahlberg, Finnish educator, researcher, and policy advisor and author of the best-selling book “Finnish Lessons 2.0: What can the world learn from educational change in Finland.”
