Financial Literacy 101 with Joan Axford, October 7th from 8:00 am to 9:00 am via Zoom
This session will outline the role for district leaders in financial and risk management in school districts. The agenda will include:
· the calendar for financial reporting and key information in those reports
· risk management through policy, planning, budgeting, reporting and audits
· working with your Secretary-Treasurer to ensure financial understanding throughout the district
· financial questions that you should be able to answer
There will be time for questions and discussion.

Governance and Relations with the Board and the Secretary Treasurer with Suzanne Hoffman, Superintendent of Schools for Vancouver School District and incoming CEO for BCSTA, October 14th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Parq Hotel in Vancouver, Fairview IV Room
