Introduction to Decolonizing Leadership
Presented by Robert Clifton - SD82, Director of Instruction, Indigenous Education
Friday, January 13th, from 8:00 - 9:00am Online via Zoom
Our one hour together will offer some considerations of how we place ourselves in the work of decolonization. The intention is to awaken some essential considerations as you grow and expand your personal and professional practice as leaders, so that you see your entry point into uplifting and contributing to reconciliACTION across the education system. Tensions may arise during our brave conversations, these may provoke feelings of discomfort, but it is possible to transform those into an opportunity to awaken. This will enable growth and expansion of your worldviews and ways of knowing and being so that you think about and show up in your work in a culturally responsive and respectful way. Here is an optional self-reflective exercise that might be helpful for this session. View the LINK HERE
There is no charge for this session but you must register* in order to get the zoom link.
