Claire Guy - Executive Director BCSSA
Claire Guy recently retired as Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Langley School District, and currently serves as Executive Director for the British Columbia School Superintendents Association. In her 32 years in the public education system, Claire has worked at all levels of the K-12 system as a teacher, administrator, senior district leader, and curriculum developer for the Ministry of Education, and has experience in virtually all portfolios within the public education system. She has worked to promote student safety and well-being, inclusion, and most recently championed SOGI education in BC.
Susan Hooper – Events BCSSA
Susan Hooper is a project, meeting and event planner. In addition to being involved in all aspects of event planning for BC School Superintendents Association and BC Association of School Business Officials since 2012, she has also planned successful projects and events in the past for ERAC, Better Business Bureau of Mainland BC and HP.

Cecilia Lavoie, Membership and Office Administrator
Cecilia Lavoie is an administrator with an extensive and successful career in high level supporting roles in the private sector. She manages all aspects of the BCSSA's membership database and services, the Association’s day-to-day business and backs the running of all special projects that come her way. Cecilia has a B.A. in Journalism and Social Communication.
Tracy Liesch, Part-Time Executive Assistant
Tracy Liesch recently retired as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent for the Gold Trail School District, and currently serves as part-time Executive Assistant for the BC School Superintendents Association and the BC Association of School Business Officials. In her 26 years in the education system Tracy has worked in many roles, such as District Trainer, Technology & Data Coordinator, School Secretary and Continuing Education Instructor at Thompson Rivers University.
